In 2006 a couple of hundred of people turned up to a small green in Kendal to watch a gig known as 'kendal calling,' Pendulum and British Sea Power made the headliners. Last year 4,000+ people turned up to watch the likes of, The Streets, Beardy Man, Chase n Status and Mumford & Sons. To say that Kendal Calling 'took off' is an understatement (I heard some cockneys in Manchester talking about getting tickets for this year). This years line-up (pictured) looks better than lasts, I'm looking forward to seeing The Coral, Calvin Harris, Badly Drawn Boy, Plump DJ's and the legend that is Craig Charles and his Funk and Soul Show.
